I can NOT believe that Rog is with Beck now. Speaking of embarassing
projects, anyone wanna buy "Beatnik Beatch"?
I hope Andy hasn't turned into a 90's Syd Barrett (reclusive and turning
away from music). I would love to hear a solo album. I love his voice
and his writing.
I saw an "Imperial Drag" sticker in a club
thay played at over a year ago. It made me really sad that I will never
see them play. =(

Roger hasn't 'joined' Beck's band. He's touring with Beck, playing
keyboards, and hey, what could possibly be the downfall? There are alot
of fun sounds to play and he's touring Australia AND he's making good
money! I say good for him! Roger is very, very talented and Beck
deserves someone of his stature. I would figure the only bad thing is it
puts whatever will be ID on hold for that much longer. Fear not, they
will come 'round again soon. This time it won't be with such a flake of
a singer! Icky, meanwhile is helping Jane Weidlan (sp?) with some
Frosted demos and Joe is still kickin' it around with Gracie.Kepp the
messages posting kids!

I can't believe you've left me again.....although i suppose I'd rather
have you leave me as the musically sound band you were, and not become
some musically unfeeling band just for the sake of your record
label...You brought me joy, love, and light where before there were only
clouds, and now there's a rainbow, assuring me that in some cosmic
realm, this is all for the best.....Thank you for your music, your wit,
your "realness" and your laughter.......Should I go before you, I leave
you my Volkswagon microbus which still PROUDLY displays the Imperial
Drag autographs across the passenger door (I'll never forget the FIVE
hour drive to see you that night)

I heard that Eric Dover and Andy Sturmer are doing acoustic recordings
together and may be doing a brief tour of the west. Any truth to that?

Joe, I would like to know a bit (more) about the recording of the
album. Specifically, what was your approach to achieving the 70's-ish
yet 90's sound? I would like to know: Headphones or monitors?
What kind of drum kit was used? (I mean the kick sounds HUGE)
And what miked it? Basic tracks were recorded mostly
live, eh? Anything you were particularly proud of in
the way of ingenuity?
I would really like a
japanese ID CD.... extra songs, you know.... how do I go about getting
this?
We should be able to buy the "Boy Or A Girl" video from
SOMEBODY. Then again, it's no big deal.
Andy & Eric together
again? Really? Strange.
Sorry to take up so much room.
Thanks, Adam
