I just talked to Eric Dover (ex-Jellyfish, Imperial Drag, Slash's Snakepit, Umajets, Love Bang, etc.).
He's back from the Alice Cooper tour and may be going out on another later this year in the US. Stay tuned to http://www.alicecoopershow.com for more news about these dates.
Eric is also going to be playing in the L.A. area this weekend at Club Makeup. They have a house band and he will be joining them tomorrow night, August 4th. Apparently, most of it is backing up drag queens. Eric recommends arriving early. More info: http://www.clubmakeup.net.
Eric's own musical endeavor, Sextus, is moving along nicely. He's putting the finishing touches on the songs for the CD which he is recording himself along with producer Michael Reed. The demos are already being circulated to label reps, etc. and one way or another the CD will be available very soon.
Sextus is also now an actual band! They are trying to set up some shows along the west coast for later this year. There is no web site yet, but when there is it will be at http://www.sextus.net. For now, see http://www.mp3.com/sextus for updates.
