I regret to once again inform you that we will never be getting back together. Too many "logistical problems" (how's that for restraint?) for it to ever happen. Believe you me, I would love more than any of you for the group to get back together. I've been having dreams about it for the past five years! (funny thing is, the exact same things keep it from happening in my dreams, too!). Sorry. It's just not gonna happen.
I really love and appreciate all of your ideas for the T-shirt thing. I think we'll definitely have to take them all under advisement. I really want to express my appreciation for Miranda's willingness to help out in the situation (thanks, M!). I'm trying to come up with some sort of sneaky way to send these things to cut down on the postage (perhaps vacuum-sealing the shirts in one-inch diameter tubes?). Don't worry kids, we'll make it happen. By year's end, I wanna see all of you in Black I.D. Shirts. I think since I'm enabling you all to be such fashionably attired folk, in turn you should all send me pictures of yourselves wearing your shirts, deal?
To I.D. luv: Don't worry, honey - you ain't missing anything by not being here in La La Land! I often daydream of moving somewhere else. Trouble is, I can't seem to pry myself away from the warm, So. Cal. climate just yet. My friends all complain about "not having seasons" and "liking to wear coats" & stuff. They bitch & moan about the leaves not turning. You can have your orange leaves. I'll trade hanging out last sunday in the 80-degree heat in a t-shirt & shorts with my dog at the dogpark for shovelling snow in fifteen below, ANY DAY! And as far as a "music scene", there hasn't been one since 1985 when G'n'R & Jane's Addiction ruled the roost. Like 'em or not (I was always more predisposed to 'Jane's, myself!), THAT was a music scene! A different club to go to EVERY NIGHT! Now all you have is crappy Hollywood scenester clubs where all the girls have fake tits & those charming, lip-lined (my girlfriend calls it "Whore-mouth")lips, the DJ's play nothing but trance (God, I hate trance!), and all the guys are of middle-eastern descent (no offense), and wear too much cologne & gold chains. As far as rock clubs go, every time I go out (which isn't much these days, lemme tell ya!), all I see is the latest batch of Limp Bizkit clone bands & bad girl singer-songwriters. So, you're not missing anything. 'Course, there is this cool band called "LFOT" or something...
