Has anyone heard the cover by Nobody? Wow.. simply amazing. Got me all warm inside to know someone covered a tune like this. Heavy Stuff!!!

: *nods in agreement* The "psychedelic" (for want of a better word) middle sections of "Porpoise Song" and "Overnight Sensation" are a tad similar in feel/timbre; coincidence or tribute?! :-)

: : : wow. straight outta a 24-hour blackout and into watching a few monkees episodes tonight with a friend and onto this board an hour later to see strangely coincidental posts. two hours ago i was just saying that i leaned more towards the nesmith/tork end of things. hmmmm...... and then i borrowed her box set so i could hear oh my my and teardrop city. yet she'd never seen head. go figure. have to say i dig the original nilsson version of daddy's song more, though. cheers!

: : : : I love Davey Jones followed right behind by Mickey Dolenz... they had awesome voices.

: : : : Daddy's Song from the movie head is one of my most favourite vocal performances ever.

: : : : Monkeys are the craziest people!!

: : : : darthcrunch over and out
