First things first, 'suck out', as it is currently being called is on audiogalaxy - virtually free of charge of course - bar downloading time and other corporate tiswas, dependant upon your server. Secondly, what's 'Sweet, Sweet Love' like? I haven't come across this one before.
O'NASIS does of course mention the dreaded word when it comes to bootlegs and downlaods - that being, obviously, 'paid'. If payment was made, it can be, virtually guarenteed that Eric didn't see any of it - the same going for my Drag c.d. My own thoughts on this subject are some what confused. Is it simply a matter of supply and demand. For instance it doesn't seem likely that 'work' will be releasing a Drag demo collection at any point soon (though notlame probably would given availability to the correct material). Basically, I want, and actively seek, Drag stuff I don't have, like many others undoubtedly. I just feel a little dubious about it's unofficial, ie un-band related, nature. Does this make sense? Hope so... If not, I apologise, but it has been a long day! I was wondering if others might like to discuss this, especially given the current climate of the message board!
If you don't, well perhaps that's understandable, given the current thorniness of the issue. One idea that I would like to throw in the ring is that I don't think record companies, or artists, have fully realised the potential of the internet, and people's abilty to download...Again, the possibilities of supply and demand.
Tom.
