I finally bought the Slashs Snakepit CD yesterday, the first one. I know I'm a bit behind the times with it, but it's all in the name of research. Or obsession, not quite sure which. Anyway, I've been putting it off since it came out (1995 - blimey!), because I was not that taken with the idea of another Guns n Roses album. And hey, guess what, it's just like a Guns n Roses album! Well, not quite so, but I guess with the two guitarists, drums, keys etc, it was going to be in the same ball park. Not that I don't like GnR, I'm not a massive fan, but they're ok. So the Snakepit CD is not too bad in places. "Balls out Rock". Anyway, I just thought I'd share that one with you.
The Jellyfish Box set is still due out for March according to the man at NotLame. I had an email conversation with him a couple of weeks ago and he said it was still doing ok! Can't wait.
As for the Teenage Fanclub thing, yeah I have a Catholic education with the masterful everything flows. I like to have as much material and information on the bands that I love. Hence that's why I'm here!
