Hello Challenge Contestants,
Sorry for taking so long to check in and review the challenge! Thank you both for your help. It sounds like were are pretty much there except maybe try:
"I think your honour degree went to your brains"
and later on,
"She paints her testimonies," then,
"... And the three million dollars that she's worth don't change a thing."
and also,
"...For on every tender finger she('s) got rings,
Gold and silver diamonds too
And her personal tag says 'Who are you?'."
What do you think? Incidently, I always thought that Gita was pronounced with a soft 'g' (as on 'goose'), but I've learnt from bitter experience not to come over like an Imperial (no pun intended) Limey about the English language. Incidental fact: over 10,000 word in the original Oxford English dictionaly were contributed by a criminally insane ex-US Civil War veteran & murderer. Hmmm.
Anyway, back to the topic. How about we up the ante? Can anyone out there decipher the lyrics to 'Look Back Over my Shoulder', particulary the verse that begins with 'Well, so you think it takes an Angel's help?...', and the middle eight ('All I know is it's getting late...')?
There. Gauntlet thrown down...
Thanks again, guys.
