It seems to have gone very quiet on the board as of late. So much that me, a seasoned lurkee that will occassionally contribute has wondered what has gone on.
Anything exciting going on in your lives? Any good bands you've picked up on recently that we ought to know about, managed to catch the latest big thing and just gotta let it all out.
I managed to catch "dogs die in hot cars" at a venue that the NME called a "hobbit-hole" on at least one occassion up here in Birmingham. The band may mean nothing to anyone outside the UK (and probably to many of those from within it!). That's my claim to fame recently. Apparently they are quite hottly tipped, and are touring at present. They reminded me of Haircut 100 meets television and talking heads.
What else? Ahh... while sitting back to watch an Eric Clapton DVD recently, one of the special guests was Sheryl Crow. But not billed was .... Tim Smith, looking as he usually does nowerdays.
Finally saw Lost in Translation last week ... yeah "catch up mike".
what you having for dinner tonight? Anything as long as I can read it next time I'm here .. heheheheh
