Howdy. O.K., so the other day I'm loading gear at the rehearsal studio where "Snowjob" rehearses, and I bump into Steve Bertrand of the now-defunct "Tories". We shot the shit for a bit and he told me that besides working on some solo stuff, he had been working on a Wendy's (for those of you in Europe or elsewhere, Wendy's is a Hamburger restaurant chain in the states) commercial with...are you ready?...ANDY STURMER. I'll give you a second.
I hate to sound like such a gossipy hen, and I know we all gotta make a buck, but this is the guy who wrote "Russian hill" , "Ghost at no.1" and "New mistake", fer Chrissakes! Apparently Steve is going to be doing all of the singing, Andy wrote most of the music and sang backup harmonies. SO, if you hear a really catchy pop ditty peddling cheeseburgers...
Hey, Redhead, I got some good news for ya. Guess who's got the I.D. "Boy or a girl" Promo Video? Guess. No, come on, you're not even trying. Yes. It's me. Now I can't just offer you a copy of it, because everybody would kill me for not giving them one as well. So, here's what I'll do: Whoever wants a copy should leave their web address where I can get in touch with them on a one-on-one basis. I will then have you send me a check to cover the cost of the tape, the transfer (especially if you live in the U.K. so I can send you a PAL-formatted copy), and the return postage (For anyone reading this that is associated with the SONY company's legal department, please be advised that the fee is not in any way meant for profit; I simply cannot afford the cost of dubbing and shipping the tapes, and am doing this only for the benefit of the fans and patrons of this website). Like I said though, be patient. Besides the average daily grind of my life, I have to research the cost of the transfer, tape, and postage. I should have my head examined, but dammit, you're worth it!
Alright now, get outa here before I change my mind!
