icky's post has actually made be a bit mournful and has been something of a reality. it's weird how in my mind the people on the album covers stay exactly the same - they don't age and perform and live their lives the way i imagine they do. you have to remember that i'm a guy that had virtually no infomation on the bands i liked for a seriously long time, so my imaginations been able to run fairly rampant. when you get info like the wendy's thing, the people change from those on the album covers into their real life counterparts. all i can really say is that i hope andy's doing this for fun and not because he has too. Icky's quite right - this is the guy that wrote russian hill!!!!
i was just reading a review of the sugarbomb album which basically said that because modern radio was so conservative they would basically not get played (Jellyfish and imperial drag were mentioned as examples of where this has happened before). this was a positive review by the way. i'm sorry, i'm just ranting (again?!) i just can't believe this. it seems that unless you're willing to sell out completely (I'm sure we can all think of bands that have seemed to do this), while the others toil on and on to little avail.
