I'm sure we ALL do this. Especially with bands that we've played in. I'm currently archiving tapes of one of my old bands for a "boxed set" that will make four old friends do some reminiscing of their own.

You can probably change the word "touched" to "touch", present tense. The ID CD gets heavy, loud rotation at the music store that I work at. People (customers, new staff) regularly stop, listen and ask for info (who, when, where, how many albums). So, for these lucky folks, it's a new discovery, the music existing in their present, rather than being a part of our past.
