OK "People Out There" -- we're ALMOST ready, or at least resigned, to let L.A.'s best and brightest out into the big scary world for the next leg of the Alice Cooper tour. If we must, we must. We had them for one last spectacular night at the Cat Club, now they're yours for a little while.
BUT just as I was all set to commence crying into my pillow, I got a teeny hint of news about a gig here in LA in July, and since I was told to PROMOTE I thought I would leak it here first.
It's a triple bill (brought to you by GMP, Frankie B, and Paxil) ... featuring the bands of Ryan Roxie (cheer!), Chuck Garric (woo hoo!) and (GASP!!!) Mr. Eric Dover himself! (Disclaimer: due to the especially erratic lives of musicians in general, and these 3 in particular, I make no guarantees) but I have it on very good authority that this will be the LA debut of none other than -- Sextvs!! And Mr. Dover and company will be playing alongside my favorite darlings, Roxie 77 (YAY!!!!), and the best abs in Rock n' Roll: Chuck Garric of The Druts (as opposed to the best a**, which belongs to someone else).....
Now, tell me, who's flying in just for the occasion???
