: The Hives seem to have been replaced in the english music presses affections now by The Vines - whose 'highly evolved' album i believe came out in the u.s. on tuesday. It's good, if a little overly 'inspired' by other bands... Icky has recommended Superdrag, but I'm a little unsure. I guess my first impressions, mistakenly listening to 'suck out' thinking it was the imperials - hey, you can't blame me, it was sandwiched in the middle of an imperial demo c.d. afterall. Oh, is it too late to mention Sugarbomb in all this band discussion..?

I know this is the Imperial Drag message board. I've been a fan for the longest time. If you've tried downloading " rare " Imperial Drag stuff you've probably came across some Superdrag. They had two singles out off of their first album. " Sucked Out " and " Destination Ursa Major ". They just released their fourth CD recently and it is absolutely amazing. I got the chance to see them down here in New Orleans about 3 months ago and they are one of the last really great 'rock bands' out there.

: As for the Hives, I find them to be too similar to The International Noise Conspiracy...which is too similar to The Make-Up...Can...Creation...ect.

: The next few years in rock'n'roll hopefully will be very interesting.

: Oh yes, and you all must get The Faint - Danse Macabre.
