Wow. I had no idea. The last time I came on here, a tumbleweed blew by the cobwebs. I thought,"Oh well. I guess they gave up & went home." Then recently, I started getting all these e-mails from people through this site. I thought "Hmmm...?" So just out of curiousity, I decided to check it out. Wow. Once again, you guys rule. I noticed some new names & faces this time around - welcome aboard! I wanted to address a couple of things I read on this board in no particular order: As to if we will get back together for a "reunion"-sadly, I think the answer would be no. It's been way too long, too much water has passed under the bridge, and everybody's moved on. Thanks though, for the thought. About the I.D. demos popping up on napster: first of all, I have NO idea how those got up there or where they came from-it sure wasn't me, I tell you. I am actually excited to see that I can now get them because I don't even own them myself! I've tried (in vain) to bug Roger for copies of them, but,... . So it's cool to see that now I can finally get copies of them. As far as the lyrics go, I will come my "archives" (yes...I have "archives"...!?) for whatever lyrics i might have in my possession - that way you can be sure to get the REAL words, not somebody's approximation of what they were. I'm not sure if I have the words from the demos, however. I'll probably have to listen to them myself & try to decipher whatever was said-I will do my best to accurately de-crypt them, but realize that, as I'm sure you all know, Eric tended to "embellish" his lyrics with his own singing style, which at times made it a bit difficult for the listener to understand (I remember in particular the lyrics to "Suzie Suicide", in which Eric sings that she read from the "Bhagavad Ghita" (sp.?), to which I jokingly referred to as the "bag of old cheetos"...!?)- so, you get the picture. for anyone wondering if anyone's kept in contact with Eric Dover, so far, Joe has been the only one to my knowledge. I have heard a couple of rumours that may or may not be true as to his musical career, his state of mind, or his whereabouts, but they are only rumours. As far as what I've been doing, well, Mission to Mars, the project I've been working on since I.D.'s demise, is sort of on ice at the moment - mainly becuase it is for the most part, a solo project and not a band, which makes it difficult to go as fast as I wish it could go - you may have noticed that the sit is down - let's just say I had a few "problems" with my server. Expect it to resurface some time in late summer - "new and improved!". In the meantime, a couple of CD's are coming out (or are already out-?) that I played or guest-appeared on: the latest album by Jane Wiedlin called "Kiss-proof world", and a solo album by a really talented friend of mine, a singer-songwriter named Miranda Lee Richards. The record's called (sorry, I know they're CD's, but I still callem "records"- they were recorded, weren't they?) "The Herethereafter", and I played on track #10-"Seven Hours". It's a really cool, dreamy, swirly type of song. I was really happy to hear that it made it on the record since all of the other songs had a really "modern-contemporary" type of approach, what with drum loops & all. It's a cool sounding record. My friend (and Miranda's beau) Rick Parker produced it. Rick's someone whom I've admired and been friends with for many years-the guy's ridiculously talented. He also played guitar on the album (and I think he even co-wrote some of the songs?). He's going to be her guitarist on tour as well. I'm sure glad to see you guys finally "discovered" the Exies! I told you they were awesome! They're currently working with a new producer on a new album with a new label, although I probably shouldn't say what, when or who just yet - I don't want to get them in any trouble! In the meantime you'll just have to enjoy their first album. Well, enough o'my yakkin'. I hope that will hold you guys for a while. I promise not to be such a stranger - I just had no idea this was still happening!

Take care!
-ICKY
