: you may well know this already, but if you like this kind of thing, you really should check out the of Clive Barker. Go to his website, www.clivebarker.com - click on 'visions', and then 'gallery of art' - you should really love this :) Hey - I presume you've read the Elroy 'Dahlia' novel/history?
I have never been a huge fan of Marilyn Manson (he's been one of the few performers whose stage show actually offends me). However, he's had one or two musically creative moments that I liked.... But I have developed an appetite for bizarre art through my love of Bowie....first 1. Outside with it's concept of "art crime" then the Sensation exhibit which led me to visit the Saatchi gallery in London.....and there's Bowie's work as a painter and sculptor which is hideous and bizarre for the most part, but intriguing nonetheless....
: Add to that my fascination with unsolved murders (Black Dahlia for one) and the JG Ballard novel Crash (movie by the same name was nowhere near as good as the book)....
: and THIS actually interests me: http://www.thegoldenageofgrotesque.com/
