Hey you guys. It's Icky. I've got a little update for anybody that cares. First of all, I have resigned from the L.A. band HUTCH that I had been playing with for the past year. I had a couple of offers that were too lucrative to pass up, and I felt that I could not get any further creatively in HUTCH. I wish Joe Hutchinson all the best, as he has become a close friend. Sometimes though, you gotta do what you gotta do.

On a lighter note, out of the two "offers" that dropped in my lap, the one that actually turned into something is a group that I have been friends with for some time, SILVERJET. Those of you from the "old days" might remember me constantly telling you to keep an eye out for them. Some of you did and became fans of their music. Well, now I'm playing with them. Actually, it's just Luke Tierney, the singer and lead guitarist - the other members, Jeff Gross (bass) and Grant Conway (drums) have moved on to other things, hence I am the "new guy". Luke added another guitarist named Michael Wogner which really makes things sound huge. We are currently "borrowing" Tim Cullen from Santa Barbara-based band SUMMERCAMP (another band i used to rave about) to perform bass duties.

Luke has got a new record deal in the works (government security mandates that I cannot divulge the exact label to which he is signing) and though most of his record is finished, We're (the new band) going to record some new songs to fill out the rest of it. Anyone who was a former Silverjet fan will recognize some of the songs as they were part of the late Silverjet live show repertoire. The name, Silverjet, however is going to be changed as it is a completely new band. The new name has not been decided on as of yet (shit, Imperial Drag wasn't named until our record was two months away from being released!), but I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, we are jokingly referring to it as "ROCK DEALER".

My other project "Mission to Mars" is currently in mothballs. I don't have the means to do it the way I want to do it yet, so I'll wait until that day. Hopefully there will be more than two people that will even care at that point! If you've noticed that my website is down, it's partially because of that, and because of a certain web hosting company that should be run out of town on a rail for their retarded business practices! i'm not going to name them, but let's just say their name rhymes with "Tedia Memple".

Before I go, I would just like to say thanks to those who "defended my honor" on this site. Y'know, there's an old saying that goes,"if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all'. Some people, huh?
